Special Olympics Arizona
MCC hosts the Special Olympics Arizona Summer Games with our Service volunteers playing a critical role in the success of the games. In 2010 we logged over 700 hours at the 3 day event. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. See the Special Olympics Retrospective here.

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Visit our PTK Chapter pages now.
Our Student Reflections show how these programs changed the lives of our Service Volunteers and those they serve.
